Struggling Store Owners Help Out Struggling Farmer

While feeling the crunch of their struggling business, Massachusetts furniture store owners Hazel and Nazih Zebian found a sad tale on the Internet. They read about Abu Sayed in Cairo, Egypt, who lost all his pigs to a government crackdown and was unable to feed his family.

The Zebians, realizing the man's situation was far more dire than their own, sent the man enough money to replace his animals -- a total of $1,125.

Said Sayed about the couple's contribution, "I was astounded when I found out there are people who care and are still good. They are good people. Human beings should support one another and they are a good example of that."
