This dog sure is man's best friend!
William Morse was walking with his wife and his pooch, Hoagie, in California's Cleveland National Forest. The couple found themselves confronted by a 100 pound mountain lion. Hoagie, who was a few feet away, saw the wildcat approach his owners and sprang into action. The loyal pup fought the mountain lion for about eight seconds before the aggressive feline gave up and ran away.
Hoagie had to be treated at a nearby animal hospital, but he'll be OK. Said William Morse, "You couldn't ask for a better dog at this time. He saved our life."
